We would like to invite you to the first of our Southend Business Partnership Briefings for 2017 which
is being held at South Essex College’s popular Performance Pod within their
Southend Campus.
The
Briefing will be focused on the use of Digital Technology for the
creation of investment and opportunity for Southend’s economy and society and
also featuring the exciting dark fibre 50km highway currently being developed
to provide ultra-fast network connectivity for the borough.
We
are excited to announce our private sector speakers are CityFibre and OneCom
who will be presenting the launch of the dark fibre network. Rob Tinlin, Chief
Executive of Southend-on-Sea Borough Council, will be providing a comprehensive
update on the latest developments in and around Southend. You are probably
aware that Rob will be retiring in March so this will be his Briefing
presentation finale.
All
speakers will be joining the Q&A panel at the end of the Briefing, allowing
you a chance to ask any questions which you may have.
A digital and technology themed market place will also be available for you to browse, so make sure not to miss out.
