We are delighted to announce the speakers for the September 2018 SBP Briefing will be: James Fisher, the Director of Transformation of Southend University Hospital who will be talking about Southend Hospital and its role within the changing Healthcare sector and how this impacts on the local community and business.
At so many of these briefings Olympus Keymed is mentioned as a major employer and investor in Southend, we are pleased to announce that Richard Cherry - Director of Corporate Services will be presenting at the event about the importance of Southend to their Business, their community engagement and priorities for the future.

Ramkhelawon- Interim Director Public Health , Southend on Sea Borough Council, will be presenting how public health is and can work with local business to support healthy lifestyles and a healthy workforce and the positive health and well being contribution of local businesses. The programme of support available to businesses is extensive and of particular importance to small and medium sized businesses, enabling them to offer comprehensive benefit packages at limited or not costs but more importantly with the support of a central public health team. He will also cover the contribution local businesses can make to the wider communities across Southend, from Inclusive growth to social responsibilities.
The Briefing is being hosted at the Forum in the centre of Southend. The Forum is the result of a unique and exciting partnership project which brings a brand new state-of-the-art library and learning facilities to the heart of Southend Town Centre. Never before in Britain have three organisations worked in harmony together on such a prestigious and ambitious scheme. The £27m enterprise is delivered jointly by Southend-on-Sea Borough Council, the University of Essex and South Essex College was completed in 2013 and we are now working to deliver Forum II. We look forward to welcoming you to this amazing facility in the heart of town. Map
Access to the Forum is easy by foot, train or bus as it is located in the centre of Town. If you are driving the closest car parks are: Warrior Square, College Way Car Park (University Square) and Elmer Approach. FREE parking is NOT available for this event.
The Business Briefing will start promptly at 8.30am. However registration will begin from 7.30am, giving you an opportunity to network. The event will finish at 10.00am but there will be further opportunity to network.
