You are cordially invited to join us at the next quarterly Business Engagement Group event being held on 12th September at Putteridge Bury Conference Centre in Luton.
The event will start at 4.00pm to give you the opportunity to network with fellow business people from around the SEMLEP area.
Daniel Mouawad, Chief Executive, will update guests on how SEMLEP plans to utilise European funding to improve business productivity and support the career prospects of young people throughout the SEMLEP area.
We are delighted to welcome Kevin Moxey from Milbrook Testing Ground who will talk about how businesses can ensure their workforce has the required skills and qualifications to help drive forward for growth.
Anna Morrison will then join Daniel and Kevin in formally launching the SEMLEP Apprenticeship Plan, following which we will break out into groups to discuss:
Apprenticeship & Skills: Designed to give businesses the opportunity to discuss their needs, how they see the apprenticeship system and problems they may be facing with skill shortages. In return, this will be the opportunity for businesses to gain information on how providers can advise and support businesses through the process.
Business Support: Continuing the practical opportunity to hear from various organisations about what business support is available and how potential European funding may be used to support business growth.
We will be confirming exhibitors soon.
Over 100 guests attended the last Business Engagement Group event. We very much look forward to welcoming you on the 12th September.
