The Leicester and Leicestershire Enterprise Partnership is leading on this forthcoming event, where you will hear an update on our latest major piece of skills research, Skills for the Future 2018-2030. This research will provide up-to-date and comprehensive evidence on the future demand for skills and labour across Leicester and Leicestershire, and shed new light on how our labour market is changing and the skills that we will need over the years ahead.
The world of work is changing; give your students the edge by finding out about the huge range of opportunities across the local labour market! Also on the agenda will be an update on apprenticeships across the LLEP area, a workshop on using Labour Market Information (LMI), a sector update, and of course the latest from the Careers and Enterprise Company!
At ‘Skills for the Future’, you will be:
- Informed about the latest skills research across the LLEP area, looking at key sectors and jobs
- Stimulated by the engaging talk on a key sector
- Updated about what’s new with apprenticeships in the LLEP area
- More confident about using LMI in your school or college, hearing about what’s working in other schools and colleges
