Making Tax Digital (MTD) will impact all VAT registered businesses in the UK – those trading over the £85,000 VAT threshold, including: sole traders, owner managed businesses, charities and public sector bodies, and large corporations.
This seminar will provide you with a clear understanding of the changes about overall VAT compliance and focus on MTD and the implications it will have on businesses. We will also outline the time limits and provide an understanding of how you can become MTD compliant by 1 April 2019 (or by 1 October 2019 for businesses with more complex requirements such as those in VAT groups or making monthly payments on account).
We will cover:
• an overview of MTD;
• what the changes mean for your business;
• how you can prepare for these changes; and
• how RSM can assist you in ensuring you are fully MTD compliant by 1 April 2019.
