Mr Andy Haldane, Chief Economist of the Bank of England, and a member of the Monetary Policy Committee, will be visiting South Wales on Tuesday, 26th June 2018. Andy is keen to engage with business’ in South Wales, and we are delighted to inform you that he has agreed to visit the Ebbw Vale Enterprise Zone area and speak at one of our Business Briefing Events.
You are therefore warmly invited to an ‘off the record’ business breakfast briefing where he will speak on “The outlook for the UK Economy”
This is an excellent opportunity to hear directly from one of the Bank’s Monetary Policy Committee members and there will be the chance to ask questions you may have around the Bank’s current assessment of the UK economy.
