Employment, Training & Skills Breakfast Briefing for Manufacturers
Join the HEY Growth Hub, HETA, and partners for this free and informative breakfast event at HETA on Thursday 17th July.
Recruitment and skills are often cited as the single biggest barrier to manufacturing business growth. Firms often state that they are unable to recruit the right candidates, with the right skills. Moreover, firms are often confused at the range of funded skills and workforce training available.
This breakfast briefing event will explore:
The current skills situation in the regional manufacturing sector
The currently available funding for workforce upskilling and training
The training provision offered by HETA, a large local apprenticeship training provider
The event will close with a guided tour of HETA's site, including a visit to HETA's new £500,000 process testing rig and control room, which is available for local manufacturers to use for training opportunities.
The briefing will be delivered by expert speakers from the HEY Business, Growth and Skills Hub, the Growth Hub, and HETA itself. There will be ample time for networking both before and after the presentation session, and guided tours of HETA's site will be available, incluidng a visit to HETA's new £500,000 process testing rig and control room,.
