The success of Digital Product Passports (DPP) hinges on the consistent and reliable exchange of product information throughout the entire product lifecycle, where manufacturing business are seeking to create a standardised, digital record for products, capturing comprehensive details about their origin, materials, environmental impact, and end-of-life disposal. But how can your business benefit? This workshop will hopefully answer those questions and enable you to explore its application and possible funding opportunities.
HEY Made Smarter has teamed up with Bombiix Ltd to provide the following workshop opportunity. This fully funded workshop seeks to attract representatives from Hull & East Yorkshire business community to explore Digital Product Passports – its application and cost / funding.
The target audience will be owners and senior project staff with manufacturing businesses (only) to explore:
Providing a background of the meaning and application of digital products passporting in a manufacturing business. This will include the available software options.
Introducing how digital products passports have been used in the key four sectors – general manufacturing / food drink / caravan & motor homes / electronic manufacturing
Explore funding streams which might be able to support the implement digital data solutions and equipment.

09:15 to 11:00 Introduction provided by Lucy Blackley and Neil Weaver @ Bombiix People-centred PLM, PIM, DAM and DPP software| Bombiix will cover:
Ø What is Digital Product Passport (DPP)?
Ø Introduce to the potential DPP Solutions available / applications
Ø Highlighting how DPP be used within the manufacturing sector in the key four sectors – general manufacturing / food drink / caravan & motor homes / electronic manufacturing
Ø Explain the benefits and barriers (regulatory landscape) in using DPP’s
Ø What could be the potential cost to the business

This workshop is tailored specifically for manufacturers businesses in the Hull & East Yorkshire area, and we ask that non-manufacturing businesses not to register but to contact us separately for support or more information.
