Outline
Fostering a proactive health and safety culture within your workplace is essential for reducing the risk of accidents and sickness absence.
This four day course is nationally recognised and respected as certificated training by the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH), and covers all the elements of how to manage health and safety effectively.
Description
Managing Safely is an interactive and workplace focused course that gives delegates the knowledge and tools to tackle workplace health and safety issues. It covers;
- Assessing and controlling risks
- Risk assessment techniques
- Understanding responsibilities in the workplace
- Understanding and identifying hazards
- Investigating incidents and accidents
- Measuring performance
Each module is backed by real life examples and scenarios and summarises the key learning points. The course also includes checklists and other materials for delegates to take back to their workplace.
Outcomes
Successful delegates are awarded an IOSH Managing Safely certificate.
