A special breakfast event is being held to inform Blaenau Gwent businesses of the benefits that the new Cardiff to Qatar air link will bring.

On April 24th 2017 Qatar Airways’ Group Chief Executive, His Excellency Akbar Al Baker announced a new direct, daily service between Cardiff Airport and Hamad International Airport, Doha, Qatar starting on the 1st May 2018.
This is truly game-changing for Cardiff Airport, and most significantly presents Wales and the South West of England with major opportunities to develop and enhance links with the Gulf, Far East, Africa and Australasia.
Blaenau Gwent Council is hosting a breakfast briefing on 28th March 2018 which will include speakers from Cardiff Airport, Welsh Government International Trade, the Business Wales Export team and the Council’s Regeneration Service.
In addition there will be representation from business support organisations including Business Wales, Development Bank of Wales and Superfast Business Wales.
